Job summary

Riverhead Building Supply Corp is seeking a Senior Accountant to own key accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting for the company. You will analyze the general ledger, manage bank reconciliations, and prepare statements and supporting documentation.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and experience with ERP/CSD systems and QuickBooks. A collaborative, deadline-driven environment supports professional growth within a leading building-supplies company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Two or more years of public accounting experience are preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CSD systems and QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Senior Accountant

For NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and in compliance with applicable laws.
