We seek a Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, and process improvements in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This in-office role in downtown Buffalo, NY requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 4+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable, monitor receivables, and support treasury functions.
• Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting and support annual audits.
• Mentor accounting team members and help strengthen internal controls.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, automation, and process improvement projects.
