Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Corporate Accountant in Buffalo, NY for a 1-year contract. The role supports the Corporate Accounting Department and regional finance teams, performing journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with US GAAP. ERP experience (SAP/Oracle Hyperion) and CPA pursuit are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous general accounting experience and knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle Hyperion, or another large ERP system preferred.
• CPA designation or CPA-track candidate highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and month-end close activities.
• Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and prepare related reporting schedules.
• Support international subsidiary reviews, trial balance analysis, and account mapping.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations and collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

As a Temporary Corporate Accountant, you will be part of the Corporate Accounting Department supporting the Global Markets team and regional finance teams. Location: Buffalo, NY
Pay Range:$35.00 - $45.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm
