Role Description

The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for overseeing core accounting operations and financial reporting at Fluxco. This role manages the general ledger, prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensures timely and accurate posting of journal entries. The Senior Accountant handles accounts payable and receivable, bank and account reconciliations, and supports cash flow management. Day-to-day work includes maintaining internal controls, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, supporting audits and tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role collaborates closely with operations, project management, and leadership teams to provide financial insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning and performance tracking.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
