Job summary

Audacy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant for a remote position in the Corporate Finance department. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, close processes, and adherence to US GAAP from a remote setting.

The candidate will collaborate with business partners, assist in quarterly and annual statements, manage fixed assets and lease accounting, and ensure SOX controls are properly executed. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Understanding of US GAAP.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers.
• Experience in the financial reporting close process.
• Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support fixed assets, lease accounting, and general accruals.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts.
• Work with external auditors, provide supporting documentation and explanations.
• Compile and adjust accruals to ensure accuracy.
• Research and correct account discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain communication with business partners.
• Execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Employment Type: Full-Time

The anticipated salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000.00/Yr. - $80,000.00/Yr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.

Required & Preferred:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) - General Ledger is preferred.
• Experience with Tagetik - Consolidation of financial reporting is preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP.
• 3 or more years of accounting or finance.
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers.
• Experience in the financial reporting close process.
• Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must).
• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relations.
• Self-starter and strong work ethic.
• Key sklls/attributes: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and accountabilty.
