Job summary

AFA American Fidelity Assurance Company is seeking a Senior Account Relations Coordinator to build and maintain relationships with VIP employer groups and provide dedicated support on billing and service issues. You will act as a liaison to internal departments to ensure a positive, consistent experience year-round.

The role includes training and supporting both customers and field staff on administrative processes and tools to maximize understanding and utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of job-specific, customer service experience; or an Associate’s degree with 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with Windows-based PC software (Microsoft Office).
• Experience with enrollment, group setup and billing systems (OIPA, Alegeus, Mainframe, OnBase, Afenroll).
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of leadership.

Job description

The Senior Account Relations Coordinator (SARC) is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with and providing dedicated support and issue resolution to VIP and high-profile employer groups within an assigned territory, with specialized focus on billing and customer service. The SARC acts as a liaison between employer groups and key internal departments to ensure a positive experience year-round, providing solutions that meet customer needs, improving account retention and maintaining business goals. The SARC offers training and support to both internal and external customers related to administrative processes, tools and services, in order to maximize understanding and utilization by our customers and field staff.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree From Four-Year College or University general area of study required; In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, position requires 3-5 years of job specific, customer service-related experience or Associate’s degree with 1-3 years of job specific, customer service related experience.
