Amazon Web Services is seeking a senior sales leader to support our Department of the Air Force (DAF) and Combatant Command customers.

Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a senior sales leader to support our Department of the Air Force (DAF) and Combatant Command customers. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of emerging technologies. Your responsibilities will include prospecting and closing new business, managing existing customer portfolios, and focusing on revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the USAF/CCMDs. You will develop business strategies, collaborate across AWS, and engage with customers and partners to accelerate adoption.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the full sales cycle, opportunity management, and customer relationship management within the Department of Defense (DoD). They should be skilled at operating in entrepreneurial and matrixed environments, translating customer needs into technology solutions, and implementing growth strategies. An understanding of DoD infrastructure, policies, and operational requirements is essential.

This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen with an active TS//SCI security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • 7+ years in business development, partner development, or alliances management
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • 5+ years of DoD/DAF/CCMD experience
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and strategic influence
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and cross-organizational teams
  • Analytical, data-driven, with strong strategic and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years in sales or business development in relevant markets
  • Master's degree or technical bachelor's
  • Experience in DoD technology leadership
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition processes
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and legal negotiations
  • Strategic thinker with strong value proposition skills
  • Deep understanding of DoD and National Security technologies
