Job summary

Foodbuy, the Charlotte-based unit of Compass Group USA, is seeking an SR Account Manager for a hybrid role. You will manage day-to-day communications, drive program penetration, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth within assigned accounts, which are small to mid-size.

The role covers vendor setup, BuySmart escalation, field support, and emergency coordination. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in account management or customer success, with strong Excel skills and up

Qualifications

5+ years in account management or customer success
Ability to build long-term relationships across functions
Proficient with Excel, PowerPivot, Word & PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Vendor setup and new openings support, including vendor onboarding in MyAdmin and tracking in MyOrders.
Resolve BuySmart issues, escalate to Category/Distribution teams, coordinate vendor resolution.
Serve as field support contact for purchasing questions and route requests to the right owner.
Coordinate regular meetings with key distribution partners and act as Emergency Response liaison when triggered.
