Job Description

Title: Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines

Location: Fully remote | Book Focus: Telecom

About the Role:

Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention, supporting new business, coordinating administrative activities, resolving complex issues, and serving as a subject matter expert for the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain technical industry expertise.
  • Lead daily activities of the account management team.
  • Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
  • Manage policy expirations and renewals.
  • Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
  • Monitor reports for delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
  • Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
  • Ensure timely completion of activities and maintain communication with the team.
  • Deliver excellent service, anticipate needs, and respond quickly.
  • Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Seek continuous improvement and demonstrate integrity and leadership.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in insurance industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active licensing required; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
