OPmobility is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own North America customer relationships within Sales and Marketing. You will identify opportunities, translate customer needs into solutions, and lead negotiations from quotations to contracts. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, marketing, or key account management.
  • Proven record of winning new business and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and prioritize early business opportunities for assigned customers in collaboration with Business Development.
  • Gather customer intelligence and translate needs into OPmobility solutions.
  • Prepare automotive quote packages, cost models, and P&L scenarios.
  • Lead customer negotiations covering quotations, terms, and contracts.
  • Support Program Management by quoting and negotiating running changes.
  • Develop relationships across purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, logistics, and plant teams.
  • Plan and deliver customer presentations, plant visits, Tech Days, and events.
  • Maintain market intelligence on programs, localization, and pricing.
  • Ensure timely documentation of questions and needs throughout development and production.
  • Support smooth production launches and achievement of targets.

  • Job Title: Senior Account Manager
  • Type of Contract: Long-term at-will, full-time salaried, exempt
  • Expected Hiring Date: October 2026
  • Scope: North America customer account responsibility within Sales and Marketing
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and prioritize early business opportunities for assigned customers in collaboration with Business Development, using appropriate CRM tools to document targets and progress.
  • Gather customer intelligence and translate present and future needs into competitive OPmobility solutions.
  • Prepare alternative cost models, plant-level P&L scenarios, and complete automotive quote packages, including specifications, assumptions, commercial terms, and technical concepts.
  • Lead customer negotiations covering quotations, terms and conditions, warranty, liability, service parts, quality agreements, contracts, commitments, and purchase orders.
  • Support Program Management by quoting and negotiating running changes and by helping resolve major customer issues.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships across customer purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, logistics, studio, and plant organizations.
  • Plan and deliver strategic, commercial, and technical customer presentations, plant visits, Tech Days, and relationship-building events.
  • Maintain current market and competitive intelligence on future programs, localization, product strategy, technologies, materials, customer trends, competitor pricing, and market positions.
  • Ensure customer questions, concerns, and needs are documented, coordinated internally, and addressed in a timely manner throughout program development and production.
  • Support smooth production launches, achievement of financial and strategic targets, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company environmental, health, and safety policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, marketing, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, marketing, or key account management.
  • Proven record of winning new business and extensive experience managing customer relationships.
  • Expertise in preparing automotive quote packages, cost models, price breakdowns, and P&L scenarios.
  • Knowledge of automotive customer-specific requirements and commercial processes.
  • Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish or German language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to travel by air and automobile and work in office and plant environments as needed.
