Senior Account Executive - US (NY, NJ, ME, RI, VT)

Location: Remote - must be based in one of the following states: Maine, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont.

Base pay range: $240,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to help expand Cognigy\'s presence in the U.S. market. This is a strategic sales role where you\'ll act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, aligning Cognigy\'s platform with high-impact transformation initiatives. You\'ll collaborate with channel partners, BDRs, internal stakeholders and sales colleagues, while independently advancing opportunities and closing large, complex deals.

Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. territory
  • Co-sell with partner ecosystems, BDRs, and internal teams to maximize coverage and pipeline
  • Independently manage full sales cycles from territory planning to discovery, solutioning, negotiation, and close
  • Engage senior decision-makers with a consultative, value-based approach; build business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on AI-powered customer engagement strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Presales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Leadership to drive deal velocity and customer success
  • Represent Cognigy at industry events and customer-facing forums
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity hygiene within CRM
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a successful track record selling to Fortune 500 companies
  • 3+ years of CCaaS, CAI, or AI/Automation sales experience
  • Technical sales experience in CCaaS, CAI, AI/Automation is a plus
  • Experience selling through a partner/channel model; comfortable influencing without direct control
  • Proven ability to close $1M+ in annual quota with 6- to 7-figure deals
  • Strong ability to manage complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with VP and C-level stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can drive deals forward in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong business acumen and a consultative mindset
