The Account Executive will develop and maintain favorable relationships with insurance brokers and clients to promote products, increase revenue, and meet sales targets. They will collaborate on selling strategies with underwriting, provider relations, and other internal teams. The role involves developing a pipeline of new customers through customer contact and prospecting.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Sell dental, vision, and life products and services in a specified geographic area.
  • Develop an annual business plan with the Vice President, Business Development, focusing on meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Engage in business conversations with owners and decision-makers.
  • Maximize opportunities during the sales process.
  • Provide consultative sales and recommend solutions to prospects and clients.
  • Build a database of qualified leads via referrals, brokers, cold calling, emails, and networking.
  • Gather and submit detailed business information for underwriting and proposals.
  • Attend and present at customer and internal meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using tools like Microsoft Outlook.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities and report findings.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate technical product knowledge and plan personal sales activities effectively.
  • Use experience and judgment to achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $130,000 annually, with potential bonuses based on sales performance. Compensation varies based on factors like location, education, and experience.
