Role Overview

The Senior Account Executive promotes and sells company products within a defined geographic territory by developing new accounts and expanding usage of current accounts.

Responsibilities
  1. Promote products through scheduled sales calls to current and potential customers (surgeons and hospitals) to meet or exceed revenue and growth objectives.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies based on customer needs to sell products in the OR.
  3. Create action plans by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and market trends.
  4. Navigate and excel in the OR, providing product support to surgeons and hospital staff, focusing on subspecialties like lower extremity, plastics, vascular, and ortho trauma/oncology.
  5. Target events to engage multiple surgeons and utilize corporate resources.
  6. Deliver high customer service, responding to needs with creative, compliant solutions.
  7. Build relationships with decision makers across care sites for long-term engagement.
  8. Educate customers on product use through presentations and demonstrations.
  9. Collaborate with national accounts and reimbursement teams for effective support.
  10. Report sales activities, inventory, and forecasts accurately and timely.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
  12. Coordinate with management to allocate resources for sales objectives.
  13. Support tradeshows and drive surgeon attendance.
Qualifications
  • B.A or B.S degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales.
  • OR sales experience preferred.
Work Environment
  • Field-based with 80-90% travel within the territory.
  • Adherence to dress code and credentialing requirements at customer sites, including vaccination policies.
  • Physical ability to stand long hours in the OR.
