This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting healthcare communications programs, develop key client relationships, and manage outreach to media, healthcare professionals, and consumers. Projects include celebrity and influencer campaigns, data milestones, awareness days, and disease education initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day activities for the health and life science account teams, including project oversight, client counsel, and team coordination.
  • Facilitate teamwork, coordinate resources, and mentor junior staff to foster growth and efficiency.
  • Develop high-quality written materials such as pitch letters, press releases, social media content, and client correspondence.
  • Support strategic planning and execution of communication campaigns aligned with client objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external audiences, including media, healthcare professionals, and third-party organizations.
  • Prepare internal and client-facing reports to showcase work and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare communications within an agency setting.
  • Strong interest and curiosity in healthcare and communications trends.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical data in lay language.
  • Knowledge of digital media strategies and social platforms in healthcare.
  • Experience supervising junior staff and ensuring quality control.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for developing compelling media pitches and communication plans.
  • Strong client relationship skills and a professional, collaborative attitude.
