Job description

Our client, a top national brokerage and risk management firm, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Employee Benefits team. This remote role focuses on strategic consulting, enrollment leadership, and relationship development across a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full book of Employee Benefits accounts with a focus on service quality and retention

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers

Communicate clearly and consistently with clients and internal teams

Develop marketing strategies to optimize plan design, funding, and pricing

Lead renewal processes and oversee RFP management

Coordinate annual Open Enrollment, including employee-facing communications and materials

Qualifications & Expertise

7+ years of experience in the Employee Benefits industry

Valid State Life, Accident, and Health Broker’s License

Strong knowledge of financial underwriting, self-insurance (Medical / Rx), and alternative funding models like captives and reference-based pricing

  • Must Have

Industry experience in high-demand sectors such as engineering, biotech, or pharma

Proven ability to grow revenue and support new client acquisition

Proficient in benefit guide development, plan implementation, and benefits administration project management

Strong financial analysis and market trend interpretation skills

Compensation :

Base Salary : Up to $150K, commensurate with experience and expertise.
