A leading company is seeking a Sales Representative to drive relationship-building and sales cycles with upper mid-market and enterprise companies. You will utilize your extensive sales experience to develop and execute strategies for new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with client objectives. At Part3, we’re passionate about completely reshaping the payments industry. For many larger businesses, payment fees are among their single largest expenses. They spend millions just to accept payments, suffer from fraud, and gain zero competitive advantage. We help them by providing a payment method that dramatically reduces their costs, fraud, and overhead. As a merchant, getting paid should be simple and fair.
The Sales Team is responsible for building relationships with the companies and helping them to understand the value of Part3 for their businesses. Sales Reps find, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities for a targeted company or industry, seeking partners whose objectives and values align with our own. Each institution is different and every industry has its own nuances, and Sales Reps see these distinctions as opportunities — for creative thinking, diligent research, and value creation.
Sales Reps foster existing relationships and work to build new ones. Motivated by the knowledge that the product they sell helps merchants reduce costs, fraud, and simplify operations, Sales Reps exceed ambitious sales quotas and come up with new targets.
You will:
Develop a named account list with account plans for winning and expanding business with upper mid-market and enterprise companies
Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper mid-market and enterprise companies
Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients
Work with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, and Finance) to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses
Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy
This role may be a fit for you if:
You have 7+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance selling to mid-market and enterprise companies in a highly consultative manner
You are capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including the C-Suite as well as functional leaders
You are naturally analytical and enjoy digging into business models and helping customers quantify their investment decisions
You get excited about prospecting, and are capable of independently leading a sales cycle from start to finish
You have a proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
You have superior verbal and written communication skills
You are self-driven and highly motivated to deliver top-tier solutions with minimal guidance.
You enjoy building – you like to actively participate in the development of our sales process, the articulation of our value proposition, and the creation of key tools and assets
This role may be remote or at our Boston HQ.
