Job Description

Title: Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines

Remote: Eastern and Central Time Zones only

Supporting: Kissimmee, FL

Book Focus: Contractors, Construction, General

Role Overview: Provide administrative and customer support to the account team, working under the supervision of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer. Manage small or less complex accounts, ensuring standards are met and errors are minimized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in directing daily activities of support staff and team members.
  • Track policy expirations, process renewals accurately and timely.
  • Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
  • Support new and renewal business processes, including client research, submissions, negotiations, and policy binding.
  • Review contracts for proper coverage.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts.
  • Maintain agency management systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor activity and communicate workload status.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure policy compliance.
  • Seek continuous improvement and uphold IOA values of integrity and leadership.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience in insurance.
  • Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
