Job summary

Akkodis is hiring for a Sr. UI/UX Developer/Architect/Design Engineer role as a Contract with a client located in Des Moines, IA (Hybrid).

Local candidate. Pay Range: $50-62/hr on W2. The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr UI/UX developer/architect/design engineer with design system development experience and an expert in WCAG accessibility. Needs crystal clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise design systems.
• Strong expertise in WCAG 2.1/AAA, ARIA roles, semantic HTML, accessibility testing.
• Proficiency in HTML, SASS, and Angular.
• Experience using Storybook for component development.
• Strong UX principles and accessible UI design.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise design systems.

• Develop reusable, scalable UI components.
