Job summary

ICS Nett, Inc. is seeking a Senior ACAS Engineer to implement, maintain, and optimize ACAS infrastructure for a DoD-focused program based in Quantico, VA. The role emphasizes continuous vulnerability scanning, compliance assessments, and remediation coordination with IT teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in vulnerability management, hands-on Tenable ACAS experience, and an active Secret clearance. Remote flexibility is available with on-site requirements up to three days per week at Quantico

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in vulnerability management, security scanning, or cybersecurity operations.
• Hands-on experience with the Tenable ACAS suite (Nessus, SecurityCenter/Tenable.sc, Nessus Manager and Nessus Agent) is required.
• Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI
• Must meet 8570 certification requirements at the time of hire. IAM or IAT Level I (e.g., A+, CCNA Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, CAP, GSLC, Security+ or higher tiered 8570 certification)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management preferred

Responsibilities

• ACAS Implementation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain ACAS components including Nessus scanners, SecurityCenter/Tenable.sc, and Nessus Network Monitor.
• Deploy and manage distributed scanning infrastructure across diverse network environments.
• Customize ACAS settings, policies, and scan templates to meet organizational requirements.
• Vulnerability Scanning and Analysis: Schedule scans, analyze results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and minimize false positives.
• Compliance Assessment and Reporting: Configure ACAS for compliance assessments and generate reports on vulnerability status and remediation progress.
• Remediation Support and Tracking: Guide remediation efforts and track progress to ensure timely resolution.
• System Administration and Maintenance: Perform admin tasks for ACAS servers/databases and apply security patches.
• Threat Intelligence Integration: Integrate ACAS with threat feeds to enhance detection capabilities.
• Training and Documentation: Develop materials and train IT staff on vulnerability management processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on vulnerability trends and improve ACAS effectiveness.
• Work Environment: Telework with onsite up to three days a week at Quantico.
