Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential, seeks a Consumer ABS credit researcher to help formulate strategy and monitor the Consumer ABS portfolio. You will analyze collateral, review structures, and collaborate with investment banking, portfolio management, and other teams to determine investment suitability and risk-adjusted returns.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in fixed income or consumer finance, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4–7 years of fixed income, securitized products, or consumer finance experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets are required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to capital deployment strategies for Consumer ABS and support investment research.
• Present and support investment research and risk analysis to the ABS team.
• Assess issuer performance using historical data and macro trends to inform risk decisions.
• Develop and maintain analytical tools and visualizations for risk assessment.
