Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to specialize in medium/heavy helicopters in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Candidates must hold an FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings, have at least 2 years of experience, and be able to pass pre-placement exams and a background check. Travel between bases and varying shifts including nights are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Minimum of 2 years as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic with maintenance, sheet metal repairs, or avionics troubleshooting.
• Must live within a 60-mile radius of the base and be willing to travel between bases.
• Ability to pass pre-placement exams and background checks; physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters to ensure airworthiness and safety.
• Conducts troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls including sheet metal and avionics troubleshooting.
• Adheres to FAA regulations and company maintenance policies.
• Documents maintenance actions and ensures compliance with technical publications.
• Collaborates with team members to complete tasks safely.

Qualifications:
