Job summary

BeneluxTek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) in San Antonio, TX seeks a Lead A&P Mechanic / Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief to oversee maintenance, assign tasks, and ensure safety and airworthiness.

Requirements include a valid FAA A&P license, a High School Diploma or GED, and 3+ years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience; leadership and communication skills are essential. Lead/crew chief experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid FAA A&P license required.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience; prior lead/crew chief experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments according to aircraft schedule and scope.
• Train and guide mechanics in maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Provide technical assistance on maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications.
• Monitor progress and flag issues affecting schedule, quality, or airworthiness.
• Collaborate with customers, managers, and inspection teams to resolve maintenance concerns.
• Ensure proper documentation in work orders, task cards, and records.
• Maintain hangar safety, tool control, and inventory preservation.
