Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic looking to make a difference? PHI Health is seeking an A&P-licensed mechanic with 2+ years of certified aircraft maintenance experience to work on our helicopters.

Responsibilities Include
- Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements and carry out tasks to maintain airworthiness.
- Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes, aircraft changes, extra manpower, or technical assistance.
- At a field base, maintain all aircraft assigned, review stock levels, requisition spares as necessary, and ensure the safety and security of assets at the field base.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and certify on aircraft logs and related forms that work meets FAA, manufacturer, and PHI Health requirements.
- Comply with RAMCO entries such as work packages, status sheets, removals, and installs in the physical structure.
- Maintain close communication with Lead Mechanic and AMBS, and other agents as appropriate to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintain parts inventory and recommend level changes when necessary.
- Maintain company-provided tools and ensure calibration is performed as scheduled.
- Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- High School diploma.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.
- Basic communication skills and computer proficiency.
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical, functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check.
- Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair skills (preferred for Mechanics on the PHI Roving Maintenance Team).
- Ability to travel frequently, sometimes with short notice during regularly scheduled hitch.
- Ability to work night shifts when maintenance events dictate.

Schedule/Location
- 5/2 schedule
- Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or sixty miles of the base (whichever is greater) from residence.
- Travel between bases is required.
