Job summary

Premier Jet Center in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Lead - A&P to oversee inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance on airframe systems for various aircraft. You will mentor technicians and ensure high-quality work while meeting FAA regulations.

The role requires an A&P license and at least three years' experience, with strong communication and leadership skills. Overtime and on-call duties may apply, and the position is safety-sensitive.

Qualifications

• Current A&P License is required.
• Minimum three years' experience required.
• Flight Safety International or similar training preferred.
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Previous experience leading projects preferred.
• Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135 and 145.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality inspections, servicing and maintenance on airframe systems and components including 100 hour/annual/phase inspections.
• Completes testing, adjusting, repairing and other tasks related to airframe systems and components.
• Performs troubleshooting, fitting and installation on complex structural assemblies.
• Researches and uses technical data and follows instructions for maintenance tasks.
• Orders parts as needed and prepares proper documentation per FAA regulations.
• Uses hand tools safely and efficiently; adheres to safety rules.
• Willing to work overtime and on-call duties; follow safety rules.
