Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Accident & Health Insurance Underwriting preferred.
• Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills; strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing underwriting data.
• Evaluating new and renewal accounts.
• Processing underwriting activities.
• Monitoring portfolio performance.
• Developing and executing strategic underwriting and portfolio plans.
• Leading product development and refinement initiatives.
• Participating in P&L management and portfolio performance analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable domestic and international insurance laws and regulations.
• Preparing and updating monthly underwriting reports.
