Job summary

Navigator Development Group Inc. seeks an experienced Ammunition and Explosives (AandE) Analyst at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This full-time role requires a SECRET clearance and deep expertise in oversight of ammunition and explosives, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will work with government leaders to evaluate AE programs, assess new guidelines, and lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, and facility improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in related field.
• Minimum 10 years' related experience.
• Experience managing military AandE programs.
• Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with mid-to-senior-level government officials, delivering a wide range of programmatic functions.
• Ensure the safe and effective oversight of ammunition and explosives, covering handling, storage, transportation, and disposal, all in compliance with military regulations and safety standards.
• Evaluate and enhance AE programs across various facilities, offering recommendations for the improvement of complex experimental program management processes and systems.
• Analyze the impact of new or revised explosive, occupational safety, and environmental guidelines on Directorate programs and resources.
• Contribute to team studies focus on facility upgrades or significant improvements, coordinating with senior leadership to implement proposed solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Army explosive and occupational safety and environmental objectives, methodologies for assessing the value of experimental program outcomes against technical, financial, and administrative targets, and familiarity with support service contracting policies relevant to experimental support functions.
• Apply appropriate risk assessment methodologies and develop detailed hazard analyses to ensure comprehensive safety oversight.
