Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support aerospace manufacturing by developing and optimizing CNC programs for high-precision aircraft components.

Program 3-axis and 5-axis machinery, read blueprints and GD&T, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve tooling, processes, and documentation. Qualifications

• 10+ years CAD/CAM programming experience in manufacturing.
• Strong CNC programming and machining knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, machine operation, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Program 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers, CNC lathes, and routers.
• Use CAD/CAM software to create and modify G-code programs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.
• Optimize programs for quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Inspect parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Support tooling, fixture, and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate programming and production documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve issues.
