Job summary

PROENERGY seeks a skilled CNC programmer to assess and maintain our CNC equipment at the Houston facility. You will read blueprints, input design specifications, adjust cutting paths, and perform quality checks on produced parts.

Reports To: Engineering Manager; Work Location: 6401 North Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77041. Requires 7+ years of 5-axis CNC experience, high school diploma plus 2-year technical degree, and fluent English; US work authorization and pre-employment checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

High school diploma and a two-year technical trade degree or completion of a machinist apprenticeship. OJT may be acceptable.
Minimum 7 years’ experience programming, setting up, and operating 5 Axis CNC equipment.
Must be fluent in English with strong communication skills.
US work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

Create CNC machine programs for production on various 5 Axis CNC machines; set up and qualify parts.
Prepare sequence logic for machining operations and tooling changes.
Troubleshoot non-conformances from programming errors and support tooling improvements.
Train setup technicians and read/interpret blueprints and models.
Load materials, input designs, adjust machine settings, and ensure product quality.
