Job summary

Virgin Galactic is seeking a highly experienced Developer III to advance Spaceline Product Development & Production on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You will architect, customize, and integrate PLM data across design to manufacturing, guiding data integrity and ITAR handling while driving upgrades and security improvements.

You will mentor teammates, lead projects end-to-end, review code, enforce best practices, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Enterprise Apps teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in Information Systems or software development.
• 5+ years on PLM platforms; 3DX/ENOVIA preferred.
• 5+ years integrating enterprise apps via APIs/web services.
• 3+ years supporting design release, BOM, and manufacturing planning.
• SDLC experience with source control, reviews, testing, and release management.
• Experience with data migration and bulk-loads, reconciliation, rollback.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex 3DX platform solutions and act as escalation point for top issues.
• Lead design reviews, establish customization patterns and reusable components.
• Build and extend platform customizations with data model changes, EKL, scripting, and workflows.
• Design integration approach connecting 3DX to ERP, MES, quality, and analytics via APIs/web services.
• Lead data migrations and bulk-load efforts with rollback plans.
• Mentor junior developers and lead end-to-end projects while ensuring quality and security.
