Job summary

Thomas & Hutton in Savannah, GA is seeking a 3D Visualization Designer Project Lead to own concepts through delivery, creating accurate 3D models, renderings, and animations for architectural and civil projects.

You will work with Lumion, SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, mentor staff, and help advance department workflows, with a schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio with 3D modeling, rendering, or video work.
• 5+ years of professional visualization experience required.
• Ability to translate plans into accurate 3D models for architecture/engineering.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through delivery with quality and schedule ownership.
• Produce 3D models, renderings, and animations conveying scale and context.
• Create videos using Lumion, Premiere Pro, and After Effects for marketing.
• Generate base maps and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Illustrator/Photoshop.
• Contribute to workflows, templates, and department capabilities.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to visualization staff.
• Evaluate new software and production methods for the department.
• Scope visualization tasks, set schedules, and manage resources.
