Job summary

OLIVER in Chicago is seeking a Senior Designer to lead 3D product visualization and retail concepts, blending CGI, motion, and traditional design across social, digital, and OOH.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with a Creative Director, and apply brand guidelines across multiple identities, using Cinema 4D/Octane/Blender, Adobe suite, and Gen AI to accelerate ideas. The base salary ranges $102,000–$114,000 USD, with an in-office 4 days per week schedule.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrates broad design craft and strong 3D capability across product visualization, retail environments, motion, and digital work.
• Proficiency in 3D rendering and animation with industry tools; ability to deliver photorealistic results.
• Strong command of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; ability to composit 3D with live-action and motion.

Responsibilities

• Lead design execution across social, digital, campaign, email, OOH, retail, and brand toolkit formats.
• Own the studio’s 3D capability: CGI product visualization, retail concepts, environmental renders, packaging briefs.
• Create 3D motion for social channels to bring product stories to life and drive engagement.
• Interpret briefs independently, propose solutions, present rationale, and manage workload with pace.
• Collaborate with Creative Director on development, elevating quality across the team.
• Work with copywriters, strategists, producers, and accounts to deliver integrated creative.
• Apply brand guidelines across multiple identities with consistency and creativity.
• Mentor junior designers, share knowledge, and support their development.
• Use Gen AI tools to enhance ideation and workflows, guiding others in responsible use.
