Job summary

Harvey Nash in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer for a full-time role with hybrid work. The position offers equity and competitive compensation, with in-office presence 1 day a week in the SF Bay Area and four days from home.

You will develop and optimize 3D vision algorithms, ship production code in Python and C, and collaborate with hardware teams to build end-to-end vision systems from capture to reconstruction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong research experience in computer vision, robotics, or related areas.
• The ability to ship production code from the get-go, specifically in Python and C.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement algorithms in 3D computer vision (SfM, SLAM, depth estimation, multi-view stereo, robotics & navigation).
• Write clean, maintainable code that bridges research and real-world performance.
• Work closely with our hardware team to co-design our overall product.
• Design and optimize vision pipelines for large-scale processing and efficient runtime.
• Prototype quickly, iterate on ideas, and own projects from concept to deployment.
• Help shape our technical roadmap and codebase as we grow.
