Job summary

DRA Global in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a 3D Model Builder (BIM Coordinator) to produce and manage high-quality 3D models across engineering disciplines. The role requires a degree in drafting, design technology, or engineering, along with 10-15 years of experience in 3D modeling or BIM coordination. Key responsibilities include translating engineering inputs into accurate models and ensuring alignment across all teams. Qualifications

• 10–15 years’ experience in 3D modeling or BIM coordination is required.
• Strong background working in EPCM, mining, or heavy industrial project environments is required.
• Experience with point cloud scan data is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering input, design packs, and conceptual layouts into accurate 3D models.
• Integrate models from all engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment and coordination.
• Ensure model accuracy, version control, and alignment with project schedules.

Skills

Proficiency in Autodesk 3D tools and workflows

Advanced Navisworks and model review capabilities

BIM coordination and 4D modeling experience

Understanding of multi-discipline integration and plant layout

Experience managing vendor equipment and modeling data

Familiarity with safety in design principles

Strong communication, organization, and time management

MS Office (especially Excel)

Education

Degree or diploma in drafting, design technology, or engineering
