Job summary

NuWaves RF Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector (SMT / AOI Programmer) to program and operate Koh Young 3D AOI systems, perform visual/microscope inspections on high-mix PCBAs, and ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001 in an AS9100 / ISO 9001 environment.

The ideal candidate will optimise AOI thresholds, document NCRs, and support root-cause corrective actions while working in a high-reliability aerospace/defense manufacturing setting in Middletown, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Certification as IPC-A-610 CIS or CIT is required.
• Experience programming and operating Koh Young 3D AOI systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, debug, fine-tune, and maintain AOI inspection programs on Koh Young 3D AOI machines using CAD data, Gerber files, and BOM.
• Set inspection thresholds and models to minimize false calls and escapes.
• Perform high-magnification visual and dimensional inspections against IPC-A-610 Class 2/3 criteria.
