Job summary

DNOW in Tomball, TX is seeking a dependable assembler to join our production team. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and assemble or fabricate mechanical parts using basic hand tools and welding as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years assembly experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow basic blueprints/diagrams and specs.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications to assemble equipment.
• Use basic hand tools (pipe wrench, end wrench, level, tape measure).
• Perform basic welding.
• Maintain inventory at work stations and ensure quality checks.
• Identify defects and document findings; rework per engineering changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
