EMAT is recruiting for a SEND Department Teacher who thinks beyond the classroom. The role requires delivering an inclusive, high-quality curriculum and partnering with families, health practitioners, and local authority staff to support pupils with SEND.

• Experience in SEND context is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate teaching and learning in the Caterpillar Pod, tailoring approaches to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Support pupils’ progression, ensuring learning is structured around their individual starting points and developmental pathways.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues within the Pod, promoting collaboration and reflective practice.
• Ensure all teaching and Pod activities comply with the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
• Participate in statutory duties, including Annual Reviews, EHCP Consultations, and Admissions.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, health practitioners, local authority staff, and Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
