Active Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Primary School SENCo in North London. The successful candidate will manage the SEN needs of students and oversee the training of staff, with options for full or part-time work. The school has received a 'good' Ofsted grading and offers excellent leadership support.
Ideal for someone with a SENCo qualification looking for their first SENCo role, this interim position has the potential to become permanent from September 2025.

The SENCo will be responsible for managing the SEN needs of the students across the school along with managing 4 or 5 specialist 1:1 LSA’s. You will be responsible for the training and development of current staff, looking at EHCP plans as well as reviewing and implementing new systems where needed.
Initially this will be on an on-going, interim basis with the school looking to make the appointment permanent from September 2025.
The current SENCO works 3 days per week and the school is therefore happy to consider applications from SENCO’s looking to work full or part-time.
Our client is a Primary School based in North London. They have been graded as “good” by Ofsted.
The SEN needs of the students are lower than average with the main needs being ADHD and Behaviour.
The successful candidate will hold a SENCo qualification and have previous SENCo experience of someone looking for their first SENCo job.
