Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a SEN Specialist Outreach Tutor to deliver one-to-one outreach tuition for secondary students in Bromley, from Year 7 to GCSE. You will focus on Maths and English, with Science at GCSE being desirable, and work during school hours mainly on a 0-hour contract basis.

Ideal candidates have extensive Maths and English teaching experience, are familiar with SEN/SEND needs, and can engage anxious or disengaged learners while building confidence and progress toward

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching secondary Maths and English.
• Experience teaching students Year 7 to GCSE.
• Knowledge of SEN/SEND strategies and EHCP goals.
• Ability to engage learners with differing needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one outreach tuition to secondary learners.
• Teach Maths and English across Year 7–GCSE.
• Assess learning needs and identify gaps.
• Plan personalised learning programmes.
• Adapt methods for SEND profiles and learning styles.
• Monitor progress and communicate with families and schools.
