Job summary

4th Day Trucking seeks a solo driver for a semi-local lane between California and Nevada, covering about 2,175 miles weekly. The position targets drivers with at least 3 months of experience and offers an annual pay around $77,174.

Shifts run Tuesday through Saturday, with night starts and 10–12 hour days; some runs may require layovers with hotel stays during peak seasons. Drivers may need to chain up in weather and use alternate routes if Donner Pass is closed.

Qualifications

• Verifiable trailer driving experience with a good employment record.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years.
• Drug-free status required; SAP candidates are NOT accepted.
• Seasonal layovers may occur and be accommodated with hotel/motel stays.

This semi-local lane runs between CA and NV with 2,175 miles per week

Work week goes Tuesday to Saturday starting 22:00 – 23:00 for a 10-12hour day. Other shift starts at 19:00 – 21:00 with a 11-12 hour shift

There might be layovers during Costco's busiest season and regional shifts. For the layovers, driver is put in a hotel/motel

Drivers will need to chain as weather dictates. Also if they need to go through Donner's Pass, and it is closed, they might need to take alternate route with a forced layover.

Qualifications:

21 years old minimum, valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
