Job summary

Leonardo DRS's Electro- Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) team in Melbourne, FL is seeking an engineer to design, develop, modify, and analyze semiconductor processes and devices. You will troubleshoot production issues, evaluate design data, and apply DOE/SPC methods to meet performance and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and US citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD clearance. It is an on-site, exempt position with a 9/80 schedule and first shift, offering

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify and analyze semiconductor processes or products.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems; implement improvements.
• Develop test data and evaluate designs to meet production requirements.
• Apply DOE and SPC techniques in process development.
• Prepare and participate in customer design reviews and cost considerations.
• Communicate progress and status with team and customers.
