Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a process engineering professional to perform lab activities, run waferflows on Lam tools, and support metrology activities in a semiconductor R&D setting. The role requires cleanroom work, data collection, and recipe development for robust processing.

Responsibilities include SPC, metrology measurements, and collaboration with engineering teams to improve yields and product workflows.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electronics, materials science, computer science, chemistry, physics.
• Four+ years' experience in semiconductor industry building or troubleshooting role.
• Able to work up to shifts in a clean room environment wearing PPE (bunny suit, shoe covers, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves).

Responsibilities

• Performs process engineering lab activities for customer demo and/or C&F process experiments.
• Performs measurements on metrology tools to collect experiment results including thin film measurement, CD measurement and SEM imaging.
• Create process recipes from scratch and tunes process recipes for robustness.
• Provide troubleshooting to reduce tool downtime and maintain Lam chamber performance.
• Conducts SPC and etch rate analyses and reports results to identify yield issues.
