Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking an onsite technician for process engineering in R&D. You will perform technical tests, set up equipment, monitor lines, and prepare data presentations to identify yield issues or evaluate new products.

The role involves assisting process development and engineering teams, with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and adherence to SOPs. Prior lab/tech experience is preferred and a high school diploma is required.

Duties

Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. Performs set up of processing equipment. Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Schedule Note

One important thing is that the schedule of this position is not fixed and can be changed depending on the business needs from 7 days and 22 hours (5am to 3am). The role and responsibilities are executing chip tests in cleanroom which are involved wafer cleaving, wet clean, CDSEM imaging and operating etch equipment. The candidate will work with other team members sharing different tasks while communicating with engineers to prioritize a series of tasks. Need strong ownership and team player.

Education

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

1+ year of experience in a lab or technical environment

Preferred Qualification

Associate's Degree (A.S.) in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field

Certification from a trade school or technical institute
