Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring a Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations for memory and logic production. You will collaborate with engineers and operators on setup, calibration, data collection, and in-line adjustments while following SOPs and safety guidelines.
The role emphasizes troubleshooting, process monitoring, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or technical certification, or 4 years military technical service.
- Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Prior experience in continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
- Familiar with TPM concepts.
- Adhere to SOPs.
- Able to work off-hours if necessary.
- Electro-mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.
Responsibilities
- Change Point Management and system maintenance to keep equipment running.
- Troubleshooting using scripts to prevent failures.
- Monitor equipment and processes and identify improvements.
- Work well in a team and communicate across the organization.
