Job summary

Aspen Careers is partnering with a respected IP boutique to recruit a Patent Prosecution Attorney focused on semiconductor technologies. You’ll draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications, collaborating with engineers and inventors on cutting-edge devices.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience.
• Experience drafting original U.S. patent applications in semiconductor fabrication or related tech.
• Technical degree in EE, CE, Materials Science or Physics.
• Registered to practice before the USPTO preferred (not required).
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications for semiconductor technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers and inventors on cutting-edge semiconductor work.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Provide strategic input on patent portfolios and filing strategies.
