Job summary
A leading semiconductor manufacturer in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks a Construction Mechanical Piping Technician responsible for installing and maintaining mechanical piping systems in a high-tech facility. The successful candidate will work with various piping systems, adhere to strict safety protocols, and collaborate with other trades. A high school diploma and relevant experience are preferred. This role requires a willingness to work flexible shifts and participate in emergency response duties as needed.
Qualifications
Specific experience in mechanical piping installation and maintenance preferred.
Willingness to learn and adapt to the requirements of mechanical piping systems.
Familiarity with or competency in pipe joining techniques (welding, brazing, mechanical coupling) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain mechanical piping systems, ensuring proper routing and secure connections.
Read and interpret technical diagrams and P&IDs for installation and system functionality.
Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and system inspections to ensure proper operation.
