Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team, projects and programs in area of responsibility and ensure preliminary activities are completed for effectiveness.
• Ensure all projects are completed per requirements, with attention to product/process specs, costs, resources, and timeliness.
• Document all phases of development and report information to other functions; ensure compliance with company policies (IP, confidentiality, ISO, safety).
• Establish departmental budgets and ensure efficient use of materials and finances aligned with AOP.
• Assign work, develop staff, and provide coaching.
• Spearhead research and development of new manufacturing technologies and disseminate new processes and methodologies.
• Utilize engineering tools to optimize design development and timelines for rapid commercialization.
