Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) to join the BBP Final Integration Systems team. You will support the integration, calibration, qualification, and manufacturing readiness of advanced semiconductor inspection systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Service, Quality, Supply Chain, and NPI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
3+ years in semiconductor capital equipment, systems integration, or related electromechanical systems.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-level issues.

Responsibilities

Support the integration, calibration, qualification, and final verification of semiconductor inspection systems.
Perform system bring-up, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting to meet specs.
Investigate hardware, software, calibration, and system issues using root cause analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
Support manufacturing and field escalations with effective problem-solving.
Analyze system data to identify trends and drive improvements.
Create and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and docs.
