Job summary

EMD Electronics in the United States (Austin, TX) seeks aMaintenance Supervisor to oversee site equipment maintenance for semiconductor-related systems. The role requires leadership of technicians, adherence to safety protocols, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Some travel may be involved to support regional needs. You will manage gas/chemical distribution equipment, ensure operation and repair, and guide the team through shift activities while maintaining strong customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or trades experience.
• 1+ years of leadership, mentorship, coaching, team building, or supervisory experience.
• Alternative: High School Diploma or GED plus 8+ years of maintenance experience and 1+ year of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer contact for daily equipment issues.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels for shifts.
• Oversee the Basic Safety Process (BSP) and Electronics Safety Assessment Structure (ELSAS).
• Maintain qualification manuals and mentor technical growth.
• Drive safety initiatives and incident investigations to closure.
• Communicate site goals and directives to the team.
