Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. is seeking a CIM IT Application Engineer to design, develop, and support mission-critical fab automation and MES systems for a 24x7 manufacturing environment in Newport Beach, CA.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Process Engineering, and IT to automate fab tools and ensure traceability across operations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software and MES experience, strong JAVA/.NET/Python skills, and a deep understanding of SECS/GEM, GEM300,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE/EE/IS or related field.
• 5+ years in software engineering, integration, or production support in high-availability environments.
• Strong understanding of fab operations, lots, recipes, and traceability.
• Hands-on MES implementation, integration, or administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and support fab systems for manufacturing.
• Build MES integrations for workflows like lot movement, track-in/track-out, and recipe management.
• Lead lifecycle from requirements to deployment and monitoring of manufacturing software.
• Create real-time and batch data pipelines for MES and process data.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, process, IT, and vendors to deliver reliable solutions.
