Linde plc is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee an Air Separation Gas Plant near Phoenix, serving semiconductor customers. You will lead instrument, analytical, electrical, and operations teams, schedule work to sustain coverage, and champion safety and quality across all activities.

The role focuses on maintaining gas purity, optimizing plant performance, and coordinating with engineering and customer teams in a 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with relevant plant operations knowledge.
• Experience leading and coaching multi-skilled teams in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of analyzers, sampling systems, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at an Air Separation Gas Plant supplying high-purity gases to a semiconductor customer.
• Lead, coach, and develop analytical, instrumentation, electrical, and operations Technicians.
• Schedule and assign work to ensure adequate coverage and operational continuity.
• Promote a strong safety, compliance, and operational excellence culture.
• Coordinate daily activities across control room, field operations, and customer use point.
• Ensure production goals are met while maintaining efficiency and gas purity.
• Review plant performance, operating trends, and equipment status to optimize operations.
• Lead troubleshooting for plant upsets, equipment failures, and customer supply issues.
• Oversee analytical equipment performance at the Customer Use Point and ensure semiconductor-grade requirements.
• Serve as liaison between plant operations, engineering, and customer technical teams.
• Support audits, quality reviews, and incident investigations with customer representatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental permits, quality requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain QA, PSI, variance, maintenance, and compliance records.
• Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams to plan outages, inspections, and projects.
